Internet Of Things is the thing used in modern ways using this we can save energy mainly it has levels s it have 6 levels level1 IOT the system have a single node that performs the sensing it acts as a sensor.
Giving a good example here this system is suitable for modeling low cost and low complexity solutions here the data involved is not huge and also analysis requirements also not computationally intensive.
Here we can consider smart home automation this consists of a node that controls the lights and homely appliances like mixer, t .v, refrigerator, and more things which are commonly used, controller service house. the main thing how it works let us go too deep:-
The status info of every light or appliance is maintained in a local database the services are deployed locally they & allowed to retrieve and update the state of every light or appliance well then it triggers the relay switches.
Next is level two:- IOT level-2:-
This level has only one node or device that performs both sensing and actuation.
And also it does local analysis it is the best to adopt.
- applications are
probably stored in the cloud –base.
- this level -2 suitable
for solutions the data is huge .that will be involved.
- the primary analysis is not computationally intensive.
Now give an example through this you can understand it in a better way:-
I am
considering an example of a smart irrigation system it is not a normal
irrigation system. it is the system consists of a single usually in level-2 we
use only single node that node itself monitors the soil moisture level, and
also controls the irrigation system. it continuously monitors the moisture
levels. if the moisture level drops below the threshold level the system will
be turned on. For controlling the systems actuators known as solenoid values
are used.
Even web services is applied/used for both storing and retrieving moisture data which is always stored in the cloud database.
A cloud-based application is used for visualizing the moisture levels over a period it can help in making decisions about irrigation schedules.
How the
Internet of Things can be utilized in day to day life:-
I would like to say IOT can save your lives from fire accidents. Smoke or gas detectors if it is installed in homes or corporate buildings. It raises alerts it can be in the form of signals.
It is designed with optical detection ionization /air sampling techniques to detect smoke.
